AKRON (July 24, 2010) Susan Weber joined teachers, librarians and other interested observers attending the 5th annual Akron Storytelling Festival hosted by the Akron Public Library July 23 and 24.

Featured storytellers Carmen Deedy and Donald Davis presented workshops about finding your voice, identifying your style, skills for storytelling as a teaching tool and accessing story pieces for family stories. Participants had a chance to try out some of the workshop ideas in a story swap Saturday afternoon.

Following the workshops, the nationally recognized storytellers inspired and entertained an enthusiastic audience at the well-attended Saturday evening storytelling concert.
