MUSCLE and BONE | panoramic repertoire

As they build a unique show, Susan Weber and Walt Campbell prepare for performance with palpable excitement.

Their interpretation of songs they choose from Bob Dylan's canon is central to this new musical entity, MUSCLE and BONE.

The expanse of Dylan's music describes a lifetime journey of panoramic proportions, from the proud poetry of the young bard to the hard won wisdom of the elder. Like Yeats, Picasso, and Georgia O'Keeffe, artists of similar longevity, he never has rested on his past triumphs, but continues to chronicle his artistic visions in new and innovative ways, always rooted in the American experience of his life.

Weber and Campbell take Dylan’s vast repertoire and bring this experience to their audience not as imitators or tributaries, but in their own style and interpretation.
