My work is regularly evaluated by Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio and by teachers who have experienced my programs in their schools. "Susan, I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how joyful your visits were. I know I enjoyed each visit as much as the children... maybe more. You are so calmingly energetic and that is hard to do. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us." |
Program Reviews by Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio
"Susan Weber sets a very high standartd - exemplifying what a Young Audiences performance should be. She involved the students at every turn, in creative and unexpected ways. She touched on some very sophisticated ideas, but used language that was age-appropriate.
She was dramatic, she was funny, and she was sincere. The students were enthralled. Not only did she convey "content' - e.g. lessons from Ohio history - she conveyed her joy in the creative process: Storytelling, music-making and visual imaging.
At the end, when a student asked, "Do you like what you do?" she had the opportunity to say that she loves being and artist - that she finds it nourishing. I think they all believed her."

Program Reviews by Teachers
"There was a variety of activities within each session. The children loved the songs with guitar, the puppets and the rhythm sticks. The correlation of music to language was wonderful. This was perfect for this age group."
